Hey, cool swimmies. My mom used to make me wear those and that nose clip thing when swimming until I was, like...18 or something...
Anyway...
I was kind of thinking that the "Etc" category should be something outside of movies or music. You know...some tidbit of minutaie that only your blog and video fans would find remotely of consequence. Or shilling for some local watering hole or restaurant. Or examining before and after pictures of Mickey Rourke's face. Before and after WHAT you might ask? Well, that's a question to be explored as well.
My gracious, Nyquil does amazing things for your train of thought...
I have to take mild exception with you, friend over the assertion in today's column that both Winslet movies are better than Slumdog.
OK, I'll give you a MAYBE on Revolutionary Road. But "The Reader"?! Come on. Depressing and turgid. And frankly, not to sound like a total ignoramous or something, but frankly I don't care if I don't see another Holocaust-themed movie for awhile. If I want depressing, I'll review my cell phone bill.
And, as I think I mentioned a few blogs back, PLEASE let Kate Winslet do a Judd Apatow movie or something, next. Enough with the lugubrious solemnity!
