Tuesday Tidbits
Somehow, my entry got deleted. It was posted, then gone, with only a headline left. This is sad because I spent a long time on that entry. If anyone anywhere knows how I might be able to get it back, I'm in your hands. In the meantime, here's The Weakerthans' "Tournament of Hearts." Songs about curling rule.

Ummm..wanna rethink this? Neither a tid nor a bit.
I can conjugate a mean verb, but I can't figure out the TV remote, let alone help you get back the lost blog.
Hope you have an auspicious new year, wherever you may be ringing it in. My significant other and I will be spending it on the couch, with Ryan Seacrest and Dick Clark and a $10 bottle of champagne (much to her chagrin). Wild horses could not drag me out into the forced merriment. But to each his own. 2009, here we come.
Just thought you'd like an early New Year's gift - next Tuesday night, Okkervil will be appearing on Letterman. If the show is true to form, then they'll be on at the very end of the show.
Happy new year, Pat (and to all my fellow bloggers). Looking forward to another year of great music and movies (and of course, the always insightful and entertaining posts on this blog). Hope everyone out there has a great year!
