"Janet Jackson's anticipated return to her Rock Witchu Tour tomorrow (10/11) at Mohegan Sun Arena has been postponed due to doctors orders. Tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date. Fortunately, I'm far far away from the Sun right now. I imagine there are carloads of ticket holders showing up, and I can only imagine the rabble. There was a small announcement buried on page 6of today's Connecticut Post, but certainly not something you'd notice if you weren't looking closely. I realize that unfortunately artists are occasionally forced to postpone - it's just that no one seems to have figured out a surefire way to reach to the maximum amount of ticketholders before they show up at the venue. I'm surprised that both Mohegan and Foxwoods haven't invested in a couple of video billboards along I-95...at least they could flash the announcement to unsuspecting audience members en route (P.S. - Channel 30 news made nary a mention on their 6:00 news...I don't think either of the local CT stations had 6:00 news because of football).
